I would like to say my opinion. I really like new K850(I won't say anything about the design as it is a matter of taste).
But I would like to give some comments for the specs.
I think that K850 is a small upgrade of K800. And let me explain what I mean:
1. Only 0,2 inches larger display. They should have gone for 2.4 or 2.6
2.
QVGA@30fps video recording. i.e. same as in W900 2 years ago (!).It should be VGA and also have TV-Out
3. 5 MP camera. Normal upgrade
Do you believe that this months waiting worth for this phone? And something else to consider: When this phone hits the stores (4th quarter of 2007) it will already be old in terms of specs. Personally I believe that the only possibility for this phone to have good sales is to have a retail price of no more than 450 euro.
I consider W960 a better choice for me. But again it is suppose to be a Walkman phone and it doesn't hve stereo speakers!!! Come on SE don't consider us as silly people who will buy your products no matter what the specs and the price are. For me the price vs specs will be the criteria when time comes to change my phone.
Thats my opinion

I'm willing to bet that the M2 goes in on 1 side while the MicroSD goes into another.
It could always be designed to go in the same slot. For example my multi card reader takes Memory Stick, SD cards and Smart Media card formats in the same slot.

Last time I checked - he didn't have one (I'm tempted to use the word YET!)

You guys forget one important thing on the camera issue:
You say it`s 2 MPX upgrade (3 --> 5 megapixels) that`s true.
But this time..the lenssensor is CCD! And in the K800i

used CMOS!
That`s the big diffrence..and I know not very much about photography but I will tell you know: K850i will take far more better pictures than the Nokia N95!! (wich I use myself)

Well.. The video size was 224 kilobyte right? And audio format was AAC. If you say that the bitrate of the audio was 96 kbit/s - which is fair for AAC - the audio part of that video will be 48 kilobytes (96 / 8 * 4 = 48 KB). Then what's left? 224 KB - 48 KB = 176 KB for video. This time you'll get an equation:
x / 8 * 4 = 176 KB
x = 392 kbit/s
That's the bitrate of the video.
Anyways, this is most likely to be a variable bitrate, so you can really say it's a constant bitrate.
Edit: oh, and it records in 3GP at the moment. H.263 profile. might change, but for now, this is it.
