I'm due for an upgrade and would like a C902 - the problem is I know from posts elsewhere (the FIAT forum) that the latest firmware is not compatible with the bluetooth system in my car, so I would need to "downgrade " to R3CA038 which is apparently compatible using DaVinci or Wotanserver. I have three questions please:

1) Is it always possible to revert to previous firmware - someone suggested that if the phone has a new EPROM it may not be possible to revert to R3CA038?

2) I can't find an o2 version of R3CA038 on DaVinci or Wotanserver. DaVinci has an o2 version of R3CA033, or Wotanserver has a generic Western Europe version of R3CA038. Presumably the Western Europe one is the one to go for?

3 If I install this, but then need to return the phone under Warranty can I get the O2 branded version back (perhaps by flashing with the o2 R3CA033 from DaVinci then using SEUS?

1 It is possible to revert to old firmware if erom hasn't been updated. I do not believe your erom will be changed via a flash from Wotan or Davinci on the DB3050 platform.

2 I can't suggest which firmware custpack you desire based on the above question. If you want O2 branding to remain on the phone then you need a O2 custpack. If you want to remove O2 branding, then you can choose western europe generic.

3 The warranty will be voided if you use third party flashing service

Maybe this isn't the correct place to list this comment but I thought I should make people in the USA and Canada aware of this. I was hoping to upgrade a SE C902 and therefore picked this thread. Kulanlendi has instituted the lovely business practice of allowing US and Canadian citizens the ability to pay for credits and then informing us that they do not accept us as customers because of too many "Paypal cheaters". Isn't that nice? You would think if they were in any way reputable they would state this fact on their homepage instead of accepting funds and requiring you to file a dispute with Paypal. I'll let them keep the $10 US in hope they buy some integritywith it. I suggest we take our business to more "open minded" enterprises. Sorry for the rant, but I deem this totally unacceptable.

I don't trust myself with A2 uploader. I'm afraid to brick the phone. Plus, I can't seem to find R3DA031 files.

I'd like to know as well. Seems he has no server for hosting those files.
