I really don't understand... Is there such a big difference between phones, that one drive is awesome with one but totally crap with the other? Sounds so weird to me... Using with UIQ3 the Vx2 really is missing something.

Hi, have Cyber-shot C702 same audio hardware as Walkman W995? When I use your accoustic driver, will be quality of sound same as in w995?

Forgot something:
It'd be cool if the megabass was edited so it wouldn't amplify the highs. Is there any way to do that?
MegaBass default is 14 0 0 0 3... We can edit it through patching to something like 14 0 0 0 0, but I'm not sure how to do it in UIQ3 phone...
Maybe you can do something to remove manual eq +8 and -8 limitation

Basically it sounds like an entire range of sound is missing, somewhere around the low-midtones.
I'm sorry I hadn't test UIQ3 phones yet so I didn't know what had happened there... Basically it's Symbian and may behave differently (in sound) compared with SE proprietary OS
Could you tell me the last version of Audiophile that works right in your phone?

It will not sounds the same as both of them have different eq bands... But I'm trying to make C702 sounds more identical to w995

there is a bit of hissing
Bar 6 of 8 in my acoustic has the same volume as max bar (8 of 8 ) in original... So if you use my acoustic, I don't recommend to listen above 6 bar because bar 7 and 8 is amplified even more, so therefore you may notice a hissing

when on highest volume on some songs the bass is too much for the headphones to handle (HPM-77)
HPM-77 can't handle high output... It's hardware limitation... Try some high-end Sennheiser headphones. It can handle the bass

Hiron: eq bands are different... Hmm when I was buying this phone, I thought that audio hw have all SE same and different is only in software. The problem is I don't know any www pages about hardware in SE phones to compare different models.

yes eq bands from standard phones is 5-band, while ClearAudio has 6-bands eq with different frequencies... It is a software side. Could be modified through vkp patching
