I have to agree with you. The whites on the Z are yellowish. I got the same problem with my XS.

What were the brightness settings? The Z looks way brighter. And I know the DNA has quite a dark display (relative to other LCD).
If both were at full, then it is unfair. The Z is way brighter. They should be roughly the same brightness to be more fair.
Also, I think the final consumer display should be better, unless this is one of those. I mean, clove has been uploading quite a few videos about the Z in-depth, and even though they will be selling one, it's a prototype (bugs are being reported etc)
It's hard to stay on topic when a group of Samsung trolls randomly start whining about Sony when they have never voiced anything before and they contradict each other etc.
I was asked for a list of USPs, made a list and what ignored. And the Z is better than the SGS3 in every way. And the screen, camera and design will definitely be better the SGS4. Screen because it's not a pentile amoled, camera because it won't have a Sony sensor and design is well...the SGS3 looks like a panda and the SGS4 probably won't look that much better even though Samsung have said they will improve it, which won't be difficult.
I'm not saying it's a bad phone. I'm just saying that many of my friends have it and it's not for me. And also note how I'm not putting a gun to anyone's head and imposing my views on anyone.

@DACHA: and you can see in the text comparison that the white areas turn to be a little yellowish.
@Away: I suppose they were set at their higher levels.

Hmm. Maybe the same people could make one at an equal brightness. I know 50% brightness on two different phones it different, I mean different % brightness but the same actual brightness.

This is what concerns me. Like you I have the same issue with my XS. I thought Sony was on top of this now, as I have heard very few complaints from users of other Sony devices since the XS.
