Before i read the updated info in the expansys forum, I spoke to a guy at Expansys about 10mins ago asking what was meant by pre launch stock...he had no idea what i was talking about and was actually bloody rude! He kept saying, well obviously that is the stock that is being sent out to the people who have made a pre-order. I told him that i dont think he understands what i meant, and that on their forum there is a discussion about there being a possibly difference between a pre-launch stock, of which he said under his breath 'so stupid', and then continued to say out loud, there is no difference whatsoever been the pre launch stock and the UK version!

Its a shame that they dont read their own forum, or are not updated about their own stock!

i wouldn't touch expansys to be honest - they aren't getting a supply of P990i's in before anyone else in any case (in comparison to mphone, phones2udirect etc) and they are around £60 more expensive!

I'd rather wait 2 or 3 days longer and use the extra £60 on a memory stick or bluetooth stereo headset

do think that expansys price will change? (hopefully it will!!)

Highly unlikely - I spoke to them about this and they wouldn't even price match mphone unless they had stock.

So considering both places are saying they'll have stock on Friday I've now cancelled my Expansys order and preordered with Mphone and will have saved £60 in the process. They say they will have plenty of stock to fulfill all preorders and plenty to spare.

If you close the flip and then press "more" and then go to "status" you will find it. Havn't found a way to find it with flip open.

Im thinking now the same thing, i dont want a pre-launch unit myself and the fact it doesnt support push email is a big concern to me. Thinking of cancelling with expansys and waiting a week or 2 till they get official UK stock and none of this EU stock.

Im going to give mphone a ring and see what they say, if they are getting uk or eu stock.

i had a pre-order with expansys since Feb 1st this year but cancelled yesterday when i saw other retailers were selling for alot less than expansys and were expecting stock this week/early next...makes sense to me to save a bit of cash!

I would imagine anyone getting stock this week will be getting the EU stock and not official UK stock as there isn't an official UK date as yet - apparantly!

Done the same, I had pre-ordered in Dec 2005 with Expansys but mphone.co.uk are cheaper and I don't mind an extra day ot two - with the savings I can get a spare battery and some other apps etc
