This is a wild guess
D5 is between xz2 and xz2premium size
And one bezel only (top preferred)
But slightly bigger screen then both
I dunno this is a wild idea
But considering ambient flow is here to stay again it makes my wild guess less right

upper one is offical image.
I don't see anything suspicious on red one.

Sony never made those holes matched the color of the device. U can check XZP Rosso....

I guess after this those fakers will improve for sure...

I am curious about this exotic device you mention spektykles. If it is an anniversary phone, I suppose IFA is when we'll see it.

As for the ambient flow design, I don't mind it that much, but a lot of people are giving Sony flak for it. If it's here to stay, I do hope it evolves very quickly, or at least faster than Omnibalance did.

Is it safe to assume another flagship/refresh will launch at IFA?

If history is any indicator I would expect a minor upgrade/refresh of the XZ2.
So I'm thinking XZ2 screensize/aspect ratio/footprint just with the dual camera system from the XZ2 Premium. Although is it even likely they would be able to fit that camera module in a phone the size of the XZ2?

I don't know what to do know... I didn't get XZ2 as I wanted the new camera system, but XZ2 Premium looks too big and wide for my taste... (I saw the XZ2 the other day and size-wise it looks perfect for me, only criticism is that the back is not flush with the sides so there's a kinda sharp ridge where they meet...).

I want to hold out till IFA in the hopes of a XZ2 phone (with 18:9 ratio and dual cam), but may get tempted by a competitor before then, as I am currently having to use my mum's old iphone as an interim, which is awful!

I think the question everyone really wants to ask spektykles is the following... is Sony thinking about adopting the notch?

@ spek Ppl from Sumaho come here a lot to read what we chat about.

I wish they had white or copper XZ2P. Like Z3/Z3+...

@spektykles I am curious if there will be a new tablet? My Z4T is seriously showing its age, and it won't be long that I need a replacement.

I'm have no knowledge on the subject, but I'm going to guess that with foldable phones on the horizon that tablets are soon going to be extinct. I mean, if your phone can open up into a 8 to 10 inch tablet, what's the point of a dedicated tablet market except for budget units?

I think the rumor was that Samsung might have a foldable device out later this year. And of course we know Sony and LG Display are working on the tech too.
