is nothing strange with c905 buildquality.....its good for a slider.
all slider have little weaker buildquality, (just tell me one who hasnt), its nearlly impossible to make a slider with same solid casing as ex, k800/C902/k750, etc.. (its against every nature-law who excist)
its the slide-function itself who makes the "drama",(you cant compare a slider with a candybar, its just so simple).

SM@PE seems to have a fairer judgment, maybe because they don't regard themselves too high as journalists.

He probably doesn't hate Sony Ericsson as much as you hate him. I think he gets a kick out of watching you fanboys bitch after each review.
. . .
I will skip the C905 (and all the other 8 MP camphones). To me the photo quality isn't good enough for 8 MP. It's definitely not a replacement for my Fuji 8 MP digicam. But the rumored 12 MP sounds promising. I have high hopes for what kind of sensor they will use. I will not say what type as it always causes one particular fanboy to flip out.

Strange, I have been using the phone now for about 24 hours, and my first impression is that I finally have a SE phone in my hands that again feels like top of the crop. And for me that was some time ago (bar the X1).
I was really loosing interest for SE phones since all they have done for the last 1.5 years is to release about the same phones but with difference design.
So Mobile Reviews writeup of the C905 was a bit of a surprise for me, since my belief is that SE actually have struck gold here...

Dont worry, there will always be a few guys who thrive on criticism. If the consumer is happy, no site can dispel the word of mouth.

I really do think, in terms of success, that this phone is the next k800 (or k750)

Smape called the design an epic win. and imo it's one of the main selling points of this phone. I remember that GSMArena liked its looks as well.

Some people underestimate how important good design is. This design seems to have a certain 'wow' factor which is a great selling point in itself.
