@ Kryptik,
LOL,happens to the best of us.
Saw this pic on Axxxr's post re the Yank-spec Samsung A 815,and what's on the screen as the wallpaper...? The Eastern Cape's exclusive contribution to the world's flora: the strelitzia, AKA 'ikhamanga' amongst rural isiXhosa in the area.

The strelitzia is very popular with the Yanks, but the plant won't pollinate in America, because the strelitzia's main pollinater, the sunbird,is not indigenous to the US.The sunbird parks off on that purple bit, which causes the sheath to open and expose the nectar. The poor buggers' beak gets full of pollen during his binge.
The Yanks have the hummingbird or colibri, which is a close relative to our sunbird.
However, the hummingbird does not 'perch',but hovers when trying to collect the stuff. The result? The strelitzia's purple sheath does not open,as there is no bird's weight on the purple sheath to 'open' it and gain access/expose the goods.
The Yanks do occasionally artificially pollinate the strelitzias, but it's far cheaper for them to just import another crate of seeds from SA...

Nature's incredible.
Anyway, enough about birds and purple sheaths for now...
Gonna check out that website that brix mentioned earlier.

hehehe, and so say all of us!!

Never knew the colibri was a bird! Always thought it was the name of some Italian chap who was in the towel business since they've a local factory. Interesting facts about the strelitzia...

I see that buyathome site has quite a big range. Nice find, Brix.

@ Kryptik,
have a look closely at their logo and all will be revealed:
http://www.colibri.co.za/about.htm
Yeah, made in your native PE and CT.

Regarding that site,some really competitive,excellent prices (R2590 for a 3230 smartphone,R2829 for a K750 and R3457 for a W800) with some way over-priced. (eg. old N-Gage or R1735).
Overall,a good find indeed.

Another excellent one is www.bidorbuy.co.za our version of eBay only without the hassles of PayPal...like I said before, because we're in darkest Africa PayPal doesn't offer support due to some Nigerian scammers.

lol @ darkest Africa! We're ahead of the game when compared to some places like Singapore. Been comparing prices with a buddy over there, using the Big Mac Method :-) Our gprs prices are seriously low in comparison to theirs... This message was posted from a Nokia

How does the Big Mac conversion work? In a simple comparison of GPRS rates South Africa and India comes out on top.

It's something i read about in a newspaper once. Financial analysts use the Big Mac scale to compare/illustrate prices. The cost of a Big Mac from McDonald's rarely varies, and its value remains constant relative to the price index of consumer goods in the majority of countries, etc etc. Thus we compared how many Big Macs one could buy with the same amount of money used to buy bundled gprs, out-of-bundle, etc. Same applies to handsets, accessories. It's quite amazing how little it costs here and in India.
