Yeah I need to buy strong screen protector or oleophobic coating kit. Still looks great even without Sony logo. I think I caught it on one of my metal buttons on the denim jacket which scratched it. No matter how carefully you handle your device it still gets marked. Damn you Sony they better think of an alternative way than these sheets which are useless

My battery is also worse since the update. My device was reset as was flashed, camera not massively improved and battery has dropped 15% in an hour with light usage. No bad apps installed either. Love this phone but pissed with Sony

I have my Z from March and no real scratches.
Just using a leather pouch.

I find the Sony's sheets very solid and robust.
I mean c'mon, every phone will get scratched, with sheets or glass.

Yeah but taking it in and out my pocket during the day. I am very careful but these sheets are terrible for scratch resistance. Yeah they are robust for drops and breaking but not marks.

Screen seems more responsive and smoothed out after a while since removing the shatter proof sheet. I'll get use to it without the logo doesn't affect it in anyway

I know how you feel mate, had to replace it twice! on wife's Xperia Z. Also have no idea why they use those sheets in a first place. Apparently Sony has Gorilla/Dragontail glass (you have better chances finding size of Obama's manhood that this info ), so this is quite unnecessary and annoying. I mean, if you drop it it will break, couldn't care less if it shatters or not, and btw my 808 screen (Gorilla 2 without any screen protector) broke but it didn't shatter all over the place.

Cheers,
Miki

Yeah I see & don't know why they need to use them. Sony is thinking of us and our poor little cut fingers I just need something to coat it with to ease up on those fingerprints I am very careful and never had scratches that easy on ANY phone ever just taking in and out of an empty denim jacket inside pocket. It has caught somewhere. The white back is pristine though and as far as I know the Sony logo at the back is on the glass.

That is sad to hear Bonovox, I also have a little scratch although I'm careful as hell!
I ordered this one some day's ago, is a bit more expensive then the ebay ones but heard(and read) great stories about these. Friend of mine has them on his iphone, and it is just perfect!
