I really not sure if Z3 launches almost same spec will help on the late Z2's US timeframe,
at least, this season US folks shouldn't feel much different on hardware side.

very impressive, especially that it is a very scratch resistance material!
now, just imagine all sapphire glass xperia design. i know shappire glass may be too costly for sony as they struggle in business but at least they need to aim for sapphire glass to all their high end devices. at least aim to apply sapphire in front glass for start in the near future.

Another thing, doesn't the C3 resemble a lot the leaked shot of the Z3 but just with bigger bezel?

As much as I hate to admit it, a large number of people are narcissistic and stupid enough, to buy this....
Don't think it will top sales charts, but should be enough for Sony to profit from it while it's around.

Yes, it reminds me how long it took sony ericsson to ditch that crappy proprietary "fastport" for micro usb and 3.5" headphones jack, it took them years. anyone remembers this?

I agree that this is a ridiculous premise for a phone, and that it would never sway me to buy one phone over another, but XYZ nailed it here. Selfies are like a pandemic for attention craving middle-schoolers, and that market also happens to 1) be extremely gullible and 2) have disposable income via their parents (who probably don't know enough about tech to bother looking into one phone over another).
I was at a beach a couple months ago (a rocky, terrible beach with nothing to do), and there was a group of middle/high schoolers who literally walked around taking selfies with each other for two hours... TWO HOURS!!
That's who this phone is for.
