yeah, side view looks kind of thick compare to the width. Honestly don't mind thickness as long as the interior is packed with huge battery or some good cooloing components to minimized throttling. S810 with no throttling or overheat is actually a very good SoC. If they really going to do the liquid cooling, maybe they can use it to cool the camera + CPU so we can have long session 4K video recording.

I zoomed in on z5 to more or less match the zoomed in sony picture. The phone look thicker to me because they
zoomed in on it. The compact frame cut is much closer to the edge so even if you change the angle a bit i don't see how it matches the distance from the cut to the edge in the ad picture. what do you have to say about both points?

I would expect that they would write XPERIA down the side of both handsets for brand consistency. So does it matter?

I agree the engraving definitely look nice.
Z5+ 4k panel suppliers are sharp and auo. jdi has yield issues
