Quite happy with my P990
Only one thing, can't get the USB cable to connect properly, probably is the connector a bit faulty.. Will probably have to return it for service to get it fixed.. but first ill try with another usb cable.. charging and headset connects ok (but headset can be a bit bad connection sometimes too)
if i turn it in for service, who knows when ill get it back

lets hope its just the usb cable thats bad, gonna try that later.

I was just wondering can you use a normal 2G sim in the P990i or will i have to get a new 3G one and transfer my number over.

Also if i did transfer it over to a 3G sim would i still be able to use it in a 2G phone, thanks.

im surprised your asking that.

a 2G sim will work fine in the P990. you just wont be able to make video calls and other 3g services(obviously)

Surprised, why? I just wondered that is all i thought you had to have a 3G enabled sim to use a 3G phone that's all.

Thanks for the reply.
