You just know it's going to be one of those days when you wake up to find one earring has hooked itself onto the pillow and is holding you hostage... Nearly tore my ear off when my cellphone alarm went off at 5 this morning

Thank heavens there are only two days left till Friday!
btw, nice one there, Wanksta

@da wanqsta: How does your wife manage with the 7600...IMO it's the most awkward design I've ever seen for a phone, it doesn't make ergonomic sense.
I'm picking up the new credit card today and mu first purchase will probably be a phone.

@ brix,
it took us both quite some time to develop any half-decent sms'ing speed with the 7600's.
She's better than me with this, but I have been spoilt (and lazy)with the P900 and its high-speed stylus input.
Having 2 separate banks of keys spaced apart like that is indeed ergonomically so damn frustrating, and you can virtually forget single-handed sms'ing.
Between the 7600 and the Siemens SX1, I don't know how the manufacturers' 'fashion' and design departments managed to get away with these layouts, during initial prototype testing and beyond.

Found a delightful,nostalgic hands-not-so-free earpiece for grannies,developed by Motorola,called the OAP H-EAR1:
@ BlueQuill,
Please tell Aishwarya Rai that I send my regards.
By the way, it was really great to see India's batting legend and icon,Sachin Tendulkar, make such an emphatic return to international cricket, during India's 152 run win over Sri Lanka in Nagpur.

Finally decided on getting the P910i after pontificating...hopefully the P910 will offer me more mobility out of the office. Was thinking of getting a 6680 but right now that's going to cost me an arm and a leg.

@ brix,
Is there that much of a price difference between the two handsets?

If you can get one for R2300 please let me know, because from what I]ve seen you can't pick up a 6680 for less than R3000 and it'll probably be a fire sale due to some fault with the phone.
P910i is going for R2500...I should mention that I'm trading in my K700i and which means that I'll just pay R1500 for the P910
