fun to read, but nothing we didn't already know.

and bragging about testing each of the individual parts of the G lens before putting it all together seems premature with the varied camera reviews out there from good to average.

it does make me want to play more with superior auto and see what kind of shots i get.

I never have a dirty lens I am forever cleaning my phone like obsessive I have found the auto focus to be hit n miss in all modes.

just news.. not necessarily good news heh

btw, i just got my 10 free games with xperia privilege. I still have not gotten the free music unlimited trial or the movies though, which saddens me

anybody who imported their Z1 to the US figure out how to get the movies?

i know MNX did, but he hasn't shared a tutorial

I could give a rats ass about the lame PS Mobile games.. they suck. i want the movies!

My Xperia friends, I am sad to report that I have given up my dream of getting the Z1. I REALLY do want it, but I've now had a chance to sample 6 different phones in 4 different locations across Toronto, and not a single one of them had a quality panel on it. I just don't think I want to risk losing the lottery as I'd be subject to ridicule by my friends when they compare it against their Samsungs and iPhones... especially since they're getting me my next phone for my birthday gift.

On that note, I have decided I will get the Z Ultra. I am a bit sad that I won't be getting to enjoy the spectacular and improving camera of the Z1 and will sorely miss its LED flash whenever I want a flashlight, but I think it's the right call for me to make right now. Its 8MP snapper will have to do, and at least I'll have my RX100 around if I need something better.

I look forward to seeing how the Z1 continues to evolve and hope Sony takes everything it's learned here and improves upon things for the 2014 flagship as I'll certainly be dumping the Z Ultra for that.
