Have to say this transfer from MS to computer BUG does exist in R1AA008. Using the cable I just tried to copy over some MP4 files, after a few 52.8MB of them a windows pop up said cant do this as the parameter is incorrect (or something like that)
I have tried copying over 500mb from comp to phone and that worked fine.
It's not a big deal to me. I don't send that much stuff from phone to PC. The odds of me transfering one file over 50+mb is slim to none, so I can transfer multipule files over seperatly.

just wanted to add one more fix for r1aa008 since it isn't on the first page,
for firmware that has chinese, multi-character search is now enabled in the phonebook instead of only using the first letter

@marinkobg
Where'd you get your O2 phone from?
I've upgraded my O2 UK online bought phone. But my CDA is 102338/16 R12A thought all O2 phones would be the same. All other info you posted was the same as mine.
Can't help as I not know the differance. But just intrested. Sorry.

I'm having some problems installing R1AA008...
After getting the "server busy" message and retrying for 5 or 6 times, I eventually can connect to SE's server. The update runs OK then, it downloads the phone software and says it's updating the phone.
However, near the end of the updating process, the progress bar speeds up and I get an error saying that "The update process failed", "error while executing script; please try again later".
After that, if I turn my phone on, everything goes well, but the firmware is still R1N035.
I got this error 3 consecutive times. Then, I reinstalled SEUS II, cleaned up the phone memory (prior I had about 9 mb free in phone memory; I now have 22 mb free) and removed the memory stick. I tried again, and... Same error.
Anyone got a clue on what is going on? Thanks...

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the earpiece of the phone? During calls, I hear a lot of static, this only started after the upgrade to R1AA. I did a master reset but it didn't fix things, also the static can't be heard if I use a handsfree headset.

you are not only one with this problem, for me this bug is number 1 of this firmware. I want R1L or R1N035 back!
