to gxg, camdrive 7.30 fixed,
seems there is a problem with flikr effect at 50Hz fluorescent light. It cause runnig stripes on pictures. Also on pictures black wires or cables on light backgroung have narrow white edges. For example camdrive 9.91 hasn't this for the same conditions...

new poster

you have to understand something... i don't get exactly you are talking about.. post some pictures... compared and make me get the point. Come here with and argument: solid and evaluable.

And since 9.91 is a hibrid driver made from some other drivers.. this one is by his own.. almoust rewrited. so... make me understand what you want to say... and given fact that we are talking about camera driver... post some pictures...

to gxg,
yes, i was wrong. Flickering ( uder fluorescent light) has been stopped after autofocus complete. White edges on black wires are not more then with 9.91.
Two crops are bellow. 1-st one for 9.91, 2-nd for 7.30fix.

I just been installing the new Windows Vista so cool, but nways. Ive noticed the forum has gone down abit.. whats happened with all the nice landscape test shots??? :S

Can anyone update me on the latest camdrivers and which one currently in your opinion has minimal JPEG compression and gives off less noise and less overexposure.

I have a problem with camdriver 7.30Fix.
When i take a picture with the LED-ON and After I want to take another picture
with the LED-OFF, the camera is dark and I have to restart the camera to solve this.

I have gone through all the 250+ pages (took me 3 days) without posting anything as I was all along absorbing the wonderful work done by people like aksd, e man, Andeo and all those testers like ilabstudio, quickshare, toryxx, etc.

Wonderful job guys, keep it up!

The only repulsive person I have come across is this man called "gxg". He is plain arrogant and just doesn't understand what a forum etiquette is. He barges in suddenly with his tid bits (obviously to show his importance). He hasn't contributed well either with camdriver, testing or just cheer up messages. He has only insulted people and tried to show how stupid other people are. I know he will have double nasty things to say against this post of mine,,,,just to get on top of me,,,,1 up,,,LOL,,,what a pity. GXG GET A LIFE
