Why do you want to watch titanic in Hindi for fun? I would rather watch it for the true spirit that it reflects and that would be in english and not in hindi for comedy's sake. The dubbing is usually done by cheesy voice actors and bad dialog writers. Sorry, but I am with thug on this one. Dubbed movies should be banned and the people behind them should die. But i am in favor of subtitles.
Edit: Please edit your posts above because you have clearly misunderstood what thug wanted to express.

great, now I don't understand what you're saying. Well, let me make it a little bit more clear.
Suppose you are comfortable both in hindi and malayalam and suppose they dubbed the movie Black in malayalam. Now the malayalam dubbed version has very bad dialogs and you feel like laughing though it is a sensitive movie. Now suppose you wanted to feel the movie the way the director of Black wanted you to feel, would you like to watch it in malayalam or would you want to watch it in hindi because you want to feel what the director actually wanted to convey?
I hope that was not confusing.

Few min back,while i was flipping through channels,i stopped for a moment at Star Sports...those fake wrestling was going on..and guess what ??the commentary was in Hindi.What i saw was that some new guy was coming to fight a guy in the ring...in the English original version...the commentator has a lot of energy and shouts....gives an introduction as if a warrior is coming to fight...but the hindi version felt like the 8th batsman was coming to a batin the cricket field in the 10th over...i bet the dubbing was done by the same guy who dubs for animal planet.He might have said the same thing...but it makes a huge difference.
When a movie is dubbed in another language,the message the writer,the dialogue writer,the screenplay writer and the director wanted to convey to the audience is lost.I am against all kinds of dubbed movies.I am better off watching a french/italian/chinese/tamil/ movie with subtitles than with a dubbed language that i am comfortable with.I have even enjoyed european and tamil movies in their original language with no subtitles...even though i didn't understand a word.
In short : A movie dubbed in a language other than the original SUCKS.Period.
PS : I have great respect for my country...but not the same can be said about Hindi.
