I'm not protecting anyone here ... but i think you cannot get here and talk like that ... He's got his reasons to talk like that ... people here ... different as you did... didn't read all the thread, and start making questions that was answered, one or two pages before... So let's keep the peace here, and not make here a "Ego's field battle" Just because he's doing a good job here... If you want, join all of us here in this "quest" to find the "best" camdriver ... This thread can't get an entire page or more with peeps "fighting" ...

haha now it seems like everybody's waiting for the next part, "GXG strikes back" or something... seriously, if you read the thread, it is not about camdrivers. A new camdriver comes along every 5-6 pages. And stupid questions that have been answered million times, come in huge amounts every page; offtopic questions also do; stupid fights between noobs and people with ego problems run throughout the whole thread, one after another - only with a change in participants.
So, if we can filter only what's important for the topic, that is - camdriver modding and testing, it wouldn't be more than 40-50 pages. No wonder why the pioneers in modding left us.
The bottom line: People, if you want to diss s.o. or you want to attract attention by being rude, go somewhere else. Like IRC, for example.

Try to spent more than 10 hours modding for yourself some camera driver and try to find the balance to get everybody satisfied...
Try to replace the DCu connector from the phone because contacts was used by so many input-output of DCU to load the driver and to save the pictures.
Try to wait for 20h some opinions and all you get is noob undocumented questions.
Try to put yourself in my shoes.
The reason that I pop-up suddenly is that i tryed to learn I2C and it was a money break since my last D750i wich i had to sold (broken). Of course without phone you cannot step here and make drivers or help in testing. (I just only reading constantly the news and all the posts)
But I'm here and it seems to me that if I'm going.. YOU BLAMERS .. have to continue the work. If your pants are too tinny or your balls too small.. and you cannot beat me with my own weapons... stay low and have your place.
When something piss me off or i'm nervous i get accid .. and except Wiser i don't recall to threat others badly.
Akshay and Torry can confirm that I have an image on the forum and in particular I'm another person. It's my wright and it's my privilege to show in public whatever mask i want. Even to use acid posts...for the ones who deserve this acid tone.
Overall I'm the bad person in here...i don't mind. As long some hundreds maybe thousand peps can take and use the common work regarding one camera driver. I don't recall not helping people how gave me PM's, instead posting here.
So.. now I need help... If someoane is smarter than me (even if i have an good IQ and a lot of passion) I dare him to give me a good and practice solution to get rid of overexposure. If he will point me to get rid of overexposure.. the driver is done and it's pictures will be the best this camera can do.
Until then: someone who came here with critic posts addressed to me... will be better to came here also with his own unique driver. Otherwise it's just a flamer and I ask everybody to treat them as paria. PERSONA NON GRATA.. and (if we have a moderator among us) to erase the post.

I'm just adding to the off topic posts with my post.......but I think the reason the number of off topic posts are increasing is because theres not much more we can do with the cam driver so I guess its best we just call it a day and get back to enjoying our phones for what they are...knowing the fact that we tried our best and cachiveved something more than what SE had to offer us.....I think the time has come to be content with what has been achieved and to move on as have most of the original posters.....except for a handful of people.

still problems on this last drv....dont know....bugs....the newest thing happend was screen black after takin a pic and saving it and getin back takin another pic....strange...and again exits before saving pic...never had yet restart on my phone while takin pics or switchin on vid...
fact 1: this drv works on phones with patches and without patches
fact 2: this drv has problems with patches and without paches
fact 3: till these new drivers stability wasnt a problem...at least not a major problem...only few had problems like that....at least i remember this way...
so.....its not about quality anymore......its about stability...
.....hope this can be fixed.....
@ gxg ....its too bad that u cant test its stability on more phones...and more firmwares....im glad its workin fine 4 u....and im glad its workin fine for u all (who doesnt have problems with it) ........the quality and all its fixed so far....but loks like needs workin on its stability.....because of fact 4 ...
fact 4 : stock camera driver its stabil for k750 and w800 ....with all firmwares
and few more hybrid drv work fine.....
on this long way with ALOT of drivers ....never had problems till 7.12
i have w800i with r1bc....like toryxx(who hasnt problems with it)...and i have few patches

didnt changed any setting on cam....just opened led and closed it
