I updated over the weekend to ...16 and it certainly better on the battery, I was finding the battery was being very erratic on ....14, would last about 6 hours standby and be totally drained.

There's a thread on XDA regarding the power usage of the X10. Some are suggesting that going through 3-4 complete recharge cycles (draining the battery to dead then recharging to full) help with battery life quite a bit.

It always does. Without 3-4 complete cycles it is wrong to come in to any conclusions.

What about the dialer? Is it comfortable, since there isn't any guessing by the phone's side ( like T9, but for numbers, like all other A2 phones )?

hey guys, been reading this post for a while, and I always like SE, so i really want one X10 for my next phone!
I think who has been having battery issues should do recharging from empty battery like some people said and hope for the best.
I tried this phone in O2 shop here in the UK, and its realy really nice, the screen is very sensitive, i've used a iPhone b4, and i wud buy the X10 any time. Much better phone, Great camera, and its from SE..

Has any one noticed that the 3G icon does not change to H to indicate HSDPA where as the HERO Running 1.5 does and The Galaxy Spica I5700 running 2.1 Does
