I have just spent 3 and a half hours in the worst traffic jam that I have ever experienced.
A multiple car pile-up on the A13 going into London, after doing some early Christmas shopping at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock,Essex, about 20 minutes (except tonight...!) drive from our place in east London.
Oh,and that's with my friend Dale, his wife,4 year old daughter and their two 1 year old twins, who had already finished their bottles halfway through the traffic jam....and I forgot the face of the car's radio on my PC's table...
Da Wanqsta's 8-seat Toyota Master-Ace's interior was a high-pitched,noisy environment for a few hours...
I kid you not, when we got home a few minutes ago,I got out of the car and gave the loudest, most pathetic William Wallace-wannabe "FREEDOM!" shout, that managed to set next door's Rottweiler barking as well.
I'm stuffed and my ears are still ringing from the twin's screaming and crying!
An old Guns n' Roses song comes to mind, called 'Patience',...
not that I'm an Axl Rose fan;I think he's firmly established himself as a Grade A Wally.
@ Kryptik,
this will probably delay the pitter-patter of little feet belonging to proposed li'l wanqsta's for a few months!
@ BlueQuill, yep, this forum turns 1 early next month,as you'll see on the forum's initial post by brix, who thankfully took the initiative to start SA's own esato regional forum.

Damn, traffic's that bad? I reckon i'm fortunate that i seldom hit the highway, my routes to work and back being via backroads.

Via the highway it's about 9km but takes at least 40min. Via New Brighton or KwaZakhele it's 10km but takes 15min max
@Brix, what's the name of the store that's doing the deal with you? My brother in Durbanville is thinking of changing from his current 6230i, and always on the lookout for a good deal.

Nope, it's the middle of spring here, summer being about a month away, yet we're experiencing temperatures of 25 plus. As a rule it's warm throughout the year, but summer along the coast is especially attractive since it gets incredibly hot, with the temperatures only dropping toward late evening. Perfect beach weather :-) And with the beach being less than 20min from home i capitalise heavily on it too!

@da krypsta: It's an independent dealer in the city centre.
Hopefully I get the phone today...I can't wait.
BTW can NetFront be displayed in landscape format on the P910i?

Here in India, Nokia rules the market. SE is second and catching up, though slowly.
As for operators, the customer has a wide choice between many. We also have a couple of CDMA network that spread through out the country and are luring people with all sorts of gimmicks.
The market leader, though, is AirTel which is GSM.
@kryptik
what work due you do mate??
Watsup Blue...
Hows SE's marketing in India? Its really sad here compared to Samsung and Nokia... But now with the W800 release its REALLY picking up!

Se marketing is not that strong here..... Hardly does se make its presence known. Only lately they have started advertising the w800i and w550i on television. Nokia, samsung, and LG have a strong marketing strategy. They are regular in terms of advertising as well as try to lure customers through many offers.

@Brix, there isn't an option for changing to landscape (afaik), but it does have full rendering mode, which allows switching between text-only, full page view, etc. Also has settings to allow customization of 11 hotkeys, options to fully select your own homepage (i have Esato as mine), save pages, add and edit bookmarks, etc.
Remember to save whatever you've downloaded via Netfront as it won't save automatically. It'll also has a host of other features, way too many to mention.

Ik niet verstaan. Does this mean, after I downloaded a file I have to save it again on the phone's memory?
