I'm having some trouble getting this update to work. I follow the instructions from the SE site, but this step doesn't happen - "The Found New Hardware wizard will start. Follow the instructions to install the USB Flash driver." I'm trying to install the update using the USB cable.

Can someone please walk me through what they did to update their phone using the USB cable.

Can you enter PlayNow?

I can't enter it after updating my phone.

I've done the latest update and surprising there is something different.

I get:
Camera 4.5
ITP CXC 125 932 R1B
instead of:
Camera 4.5
ITP CXC 125 932 R1D/E

Is it a big issue?

I notice there's no changes on picture rotation and zooming speed. It's still the same as before, this time added the sand clock (so we wouldn't think the phone hang?)
As for the sound clarity, it's still the same on speaker phone as before.

Oh yeah, besides this I notice that if I key in *122# for balance retrival from my telco, usually I get to see "Please wait" and a progress line below (indicating it's processing) but now, it' just a white line with no progress indication.

That's my findings after this update.

Different people get different numbers/charachters there, so don't worry. It was the same with R1N035.

You are correct about the speed in pictures. There's no difference at all. The only difference is that there's an hour glass now. It's always like this when a new firmware comes out: People initially say the menus are faster and there's a difference in speed while viewing pictures - there's no difference at all though.

So, your update is fine

the Camera Version is normal. I have that too. The only change in speed that i found which is noticible is opening the camera pictures folder. Its very fast now. Anyways zooming and all is slightly fast, you wont even notice the speed unless you compare with anyother phone with old firmware.


Also i upgrade a k750 through SEUS II - after trying it for about 50 times, finally when the application opened, the whole update process was fast and smooth.

At first I do get same problem too. But I gave several tries and finally it works.

On top of that, my previous findings stated that my balance retrival, I do not see a progress bar indicating anything, just a plain white line. Now this problem shows when I download some songs from PlayNow. The progress bar just a plain white line with no indicator. Anyone facing this problem too?

Btw, do you guys know where is the update file being kept? As far as I know, previously all the update files are kept in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\software-data but I can't this update file in there.

wtf is going on whith SEUS 2?
when i press and hold''c'' button and plug in data cable in my k750i seus trying to detect phone after 10seconds of detection my phone turns on itself and seus prompts that detection failed, then restarted and have the same problem for about 10times.
what a hell?
