Hi folks I'm new to this site here. My mate was messin about with my phone, then not long after my phone (k750i) started ringing, but not displaying anythin. Then he could make it dial out, aswell as browse my files!

I'm new to all this bluejakcin etc, so would appreciate a little explanantion as to how and why etc, and can I download some software that would allow me to have a giggle in the same way?? I downloaded BT-INFO (saw it mentioned in here), but its in a foreign language so cant really use it!!

Please advise

Cheers!!

someone was being naughty on the not so megabus from london to glasgow a couple of days ago- making the drivers phone go crazy! he looked genuinely confused, but wasnt about to look around or ask any passengers since he did have a vehicle to control at the same time lol terrible..! i thought he just had a wonky phone until i saw the guy next from me accessing his bluetooth with the word 'mega' coming up for his own amusement...

Found this...........ftp_bt_105.jar
on another site.
Saved it to the "other"folder on my phone and then from the file manager menu I chose Install.
It gives you a java menu where you can select search for BlueTooth devices....
seems you can connect to other phones with it.
Reckon Tesco on a Saturday when all those husbands are walking round talking to their wives or whoever asking them what to buy.....should be fun.

Thats common sense. seriosly, there's a great deal more you can do with a sony ericsson than a nokia. my aunt's nokia phone doesn't even have a usb cable! for gods sake!

I've done the same thing at bars. Some people actually use their whole name as their mobile phone name. "Is Cindy in the house"???

standard way is create msg in a vcard (contacts) replacing contact details with message.

or you could send a picture. either way, get the file, choose send, choose send by bluetooth, let it scan for phones that have BT on (& visible), select one.

it's harmless fun sending comedy pictures & that, but usually they have to accept before the file transfer will work.

iirc older phones you could send them calendar reminders also, without their consent... but i think all phones nowadays ask to accept incoming BT transfer.

if it's between two SE phones then you can also send message from the notes feature.

but ofcourse, most people name their phones so you can't tell what model they are! but nothing wrong with [attempting to] send harmless files but if you are receiving i suggest NOT accepting any file ending in ".sis" - this could be a virus meant for nokia symbian phones.
