I'll 10000% get one.... after a few price drops though!
I like the new idea of the qwerty keyboard and smaller screen, as before i always took the flips off because of the added bulk...and missed out on the qwerty, now i'll have the best of both worlds
Now it's like the treo 650 which i always liked.
They could've made the buttons more appealing, but i guess this way they're easier to illuminate.
Also the design is great, ultra modern and sleek.
I was just woundering though.... is the stylus REALLY going to be on the LEFT hand side?!?! like the pics on the home page suggest?

I'm more or less with kk.226. I've always thought the Treo was a great phone in concept but in reality its design is horrible, I think this is the best solution yet for qwerty and numberpad.
I don't like complaints about the jog-dial being 3d only. The way I see it is most if not all functions of the 5d can be made by the 3d. The onlything the 3d can't have is the shortcuts but there is a dpad for that. The jog dial in general excels with scrolling and selecting, going up one or more level used to be done on old 3d sonys by holding in the jog, the same as tilting back the 5d so I don't see it as any loss in functionality.

Price is alleged to be same if not cheaper than P910 is currently. Original pics were leaked from an Orange presentation so they maybe one of the first to release in UK, after they screwed with the software.

the screen is not that much smaller 2.2" x 1" the 910 is 2.3" x 1" as the pics show they have gained space by using more of the void space top n bottom as on the 910.
i generally only use the scroll wheel 3 ways anyway.
the phone is better looking than i thought but the flip looks like a 900 never liked those keys much!
as 4 software etc its everything we asked 4 really but im sure som ppl will still complain lol!
as for processer speed symbian requires far less to operate than a windows mobile so it cant be compared with just numbers alone!!

Simple math:
If the Pxx0 had 16:9 widescreen, the resolution would be 320x180 !!!
(it was 320x208!)
The new screen is 320x240, so the same exac movies you use are fine with top and bottom black bars.

I quite like the spec of it. if only they'd kept the bigger screen, i'd jump on it. as it is, we'll all have to wait anyway, in which time maybe something else is around.....
