I agree about the recurring event. I also think 9 minutes between repeating alerts is too much.

I would also like to be able to have a special ringtone for those people who call me that aren't in my contacts. (Or perhaps for those who calls unidentified.) That way I don't rush to the phone for nothing. I like to know who's calling before I answer.

Not much really.. but:
1. Better calendar, itīs long overdue that you should be able to set a recurring event without using Outlook IMO..
2. Profiles.. what if i want different ringtone at home than office?..
3. Minute minder, i donīt know if you can activate it via 3:d party sw like in the K700. Should be there from the start anyhow.
4.call speaker volume.. in the old īs you could go from soft to way too loud. I canīt see a reason why they abandoned that idea?
5. Abandon joystick in favor of navpad a lá S700/z520

Cheers!

EDIT: Sorry i got carried away and listed non-fw things as well.. Oh well, disregard the non-fw issues please

Guys, how about an SMS reminder? I remember with my old Motorola Pager it would beep every minute or so to remind you of unread messages. I don't know of any cellphone that has this very useful feature.

@ stelvio
My old Samsung N-620 had the SMS reminder feature.

@ ThreeX
How could you "activate minute minder via 3:d party sw in the K700."???

Moto V3 also has reminder..
@happy I found a small app written by a german guy (i think) here at Esato that enabled minute minder. Do a search!

* Silent calendar reminders
* recurring appointments in calendar
* Disable the camera sound
* possibility to enter a memo with a reminder
* Answer a call on speaker instead of having to go through the menu
* Recognise the desktop charger. It says in the "office" profile that this will activate when using the desktop charger but this doesn't work

Before switching to a K750 I had a siemens phone, one thing I miss about that phone is this thing called dynamic lights. It had a pair of LED lights that indicates various things like missed calls / messages, battery low etc.. you can set various blinking patterns to indicate various things.. so if I have a missed call or an unread message it blinks , very easy to notice even from a distance without looking at the screen.

I would very much like to have something like that, I know there are no LEDs that can be used for this purpose, perhaps the LED beneath the camera button or the keypad can be made to blink instead…

You guys may think it’s a useless feature.. but believe me; once you get used to it, its very hard to live without… especially at home when I don’t keep the phone with me all the time, the blinking lights quickly attracts the attention.
