I was told by the Davinci guys that its a very common problem with SE phones. The GDFS gets corrupted very easily. I hope, we wont face this problem again.

You can give it a try. There is no harm in trying. Davinci credits are not free, they cost 10 euros if u buy it from the Davinci site.

funny thing... I tried to bring it to the nearest SE service center and they told me that i have to leave my cellphone for 2 to 3 weeks, they need to bring it to level 3 technicians. but i can't wait that long... so i tried SEUS recovery again and this time it works! my phone is now alive!

wow this seems to be a real common problem. my white light for 2 seconds problem just started last night.
mine's unbranded. can i still use the davinci repair thing to make it work? looks like the people in the this thread who got theirs fixed had the same problem had upgraded firmware to w800i..
will mine still work? already tried SEUS once..

I think it will work. Give it a shot. Agree looks like more and more people get this problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this suddenly happens? What can be the problem causing this? Firmware etc?
