This is more a software advice question rather than a problem but i need to design a leaflet for college and publisher is not compatible on a mac so i was wondering if you can recommend something, anything apart from quarkxpress.
It is going to be A4 size and prefferably folding into 3 sections with print on both sides, can you recommend anything that can make the job easier when printing etc so it is nicely presented.
Cheers

Hi more questions for you Jools, I downloaded Carbon Copy Cloner as you said, but im curious on the options I want to use, asuming I want to boot from this sector, I know I have to select make bootable, but there is also the option to create disc image, which of the 2 do I want as I have no idea if its possible to boot from a disc image or not?
Also all my removable storage has been acting funny recently on, if i delete something, it just deletes the directories making the data unacessable, but when I come to write it will not over write the data and just use free space resulting in alot of space that cannot be writen to, How Can I fix this?
Cheers Luke

If you want to make a complete clone of your hard disk onto another (separate) hard disk to boot from, you don't need to make a disk image. A disk image is useful if you want to make a clone of your hard disk for backup purposes, that you can restore from at a later date. Just backup the disk image to a DVD-R for instance, then CCC can clone it back to your HD later.
As far as your removable storage goes, I'd suggest backing up the data to another drive and reformatting the removable drive, that should sort things out. Try doing a "Repair Disk" in Disk Utility firsy though...

@Jools i was thinking about getting a .mac membership particularly for the email and iweb.
I know you can get the email on it's own for £7.50 a year but the iweb feature appeals as it would be easy to set up my own website etc etc.
There seem to be versions on ebay going for around £40 for an activation key? Just wondered if all of the same features are included like the iweb feature or whether it is only in the newer version.
You don't have one do you?
Thanks
