I was under the impression that Sony only offer a 1 year warranty on these cards, so therefore if it says 5 year warranty on the pack or in the ad, surely it's a fake?

I just stumbbled upon this thread, but i'm glad i did. I bought a 1gb MemStickProDuo on eBay a few months ago in order to put videos on to use with my PSP. After reading everything that has been put here it would appear that i also have a fake. The strange thing is that i have only just opened it as a result of reading this thread and to my surprise i found that mine was supplied with some little sticky labels that allow you to write on them in order to know waht is on the card, guess what? The sticky lables are too long to put on the memory stick!!!! S**t!!!

H m m m soooooooooo many FAKE memory sticks around. It's kinda difficult really to determine FAKE memory cards that originate from China Unlike with dress, shoes, perfumes etc. Now, I am wonderin' if the memory sticks that were included in the BOX (package when buying brand new model fones) where the fone came from . . . mostly from China . . . were FAKES too
