Please keep the discussions limited to non-technical discussions about globe's gprs service. Otherwise this will just be another redundant thread. This post was posted from a T68i

Ang bobo nung nakausap ko last time I talked with a CSR from Globe. I asked the bitch kung kelan nila ni-release yung news about the rates on downloading via WAp over GPRS then she said na matagal na raw yun, like first week of October. When in fact I just talked with a chick last week, also a CSR, tas cnabi nyang free pa raw lahat kasi the rates weren't finalized yet at that time, tapos retroactive pala from October 1st yung rates for download of tones and pics via GPRS!

Pucha! At least they could be reasonable to charge on the prospective, yung kung kelan nila ni-release yung talagang rates!

I JUST REALLY NEED TO RANT!!!!!

I'm having problems downloading MMS messages via the web. I called up 730-1000 and was able to talk to "Ian" she is a female CS Rep. She put me on hold and then dropped my call. When I called again, a guy CS Rep answered. I asked for Ian and he put me on hold and dropped my name again! it's a pity i wasn't able to get that asshole's name!
finally, i called the third time and got "Ariel" ( a guy). I asked for Ian and he said that he didn't know her and she probably was working in another department. Maybe their customer reps are giving fake names to prevent irate customers from reaching them when they decide to drop the call! Further, Ariel told me that he was working in the pre-paid department. i told him that i dialled 730-1000, then 1 for globe concerns, 1 for new and exciting offerings, 1 for MMS and 1 for inquiries about MMS! then how on earth could i have been referred to the prepaid department?!!!!! @#$@!$%
GLOBE NEEDS TO WORK ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!

I have had problems with their CSRs when I switched plans with Globe (from Smart) and I had my line activated in a period of 6 friggin' days from the date of my application over a small problem (my second name was not recorded in their data-base in my 1st line application, so they say there's a discrepancy that they would want to settle first before they could have my second line, the post-paid switched one, activated! well, i told them its B.S. since they could have the data retrieved from the docs I submitted when I applied for both lines and settle the discourse among themselves, pero they should activate my line na muna kasi super hindi na ako sanay mawalan ng cell ng ganun katagal, since I'm supposed to use it for my job, 'taragis!).

Anyways, I've read the message on the link above and it seems that the CSR I talked with doesn't know shit of what their charges are at the moment. I also said the same thing: that my bill would surely soar since I access WAP over GPRS almost every night.

If they do charge, humanda sila. And if they did not inform the subscribers through public media, or maski na from a simple text message informing of a site where we subscribers could read the full detail of their charges on these e makakatikim nanaman sila. Ako rin dudes marami sobrang dinownload na tones through the esato wap site, then there's this porn site, which is another story, and which is responsible for my downloading several Kbs of garbage.

I still have my fingers crossed. If the stakes are throuwn to be not in my/our favor, then they better cross theirs.
