Interesting stuff!
Yes, I have posted it. Actually this is not a nre technology from Konica-Minolta. The source I have heared from is not fully trustable, this why I were asking whether someone can confirm or disprove it.

So now I have a feeling that there will be two Cybershot handsets announced at the upcoming press conference when SE also announce the rumoured
phone.
I'm guessing one will be a Cybershot slider, as said by goldenface, and a Cybershot clamshell. Why a clamshell? Well considering that the rumoured
phone is a probably going to be a high end stylish clamshell phone, the Cybershot version will most likely be based on the
clamshell and just have a better camera.
Sony Ericsson are now designing in pairs, Z530/W300, Z710/W710, and this one will probably follow with this new method.

@shaliron.
I agree with your reasoning.
They are, after all, getting two for the price of one with launching handsets in different guises.
A Cybershot slider looks on the cards, but I will be surprised if it has the same buttonless panel, like on the W850.
Hopefully, it should have a lens cover, an AF in order to differentiate it from its musical brother. I wonder if it will have Bestpic and stabilisation like the K800i......
EDIT: Do have any idea when this press conference will be - mid July?

Here's my vision of the K850/900.
It's based on the W850 and would come in both Linear (textured back) and Smooth Black and White. Almost identical to the K800 but with a nicer design and 2 LEDs for a different type of flash. Rest is written on the sheet. What do you think?

@shaliron
Excellent, I like the camera grip, the current W850i doesn't have one.
I hope all Cybershot handsets now have 3.2mp as standard, for the time being anyway. The 'K900i' isn't too slim to hold steady either so it would make a good piece of kit.
One question though, do you think sliders from
would have a different index number?
If more sliders appear in the future, then candybars and sliders being both called 'K' would confuse things.
What do you think?

@goldenface
I really don't know TBH. I thought about it and the W850 has named in the
series which is Walkman and I just assumed that the K series would know become the Cybershot series. It would be kinda confusing having both sliders in the K series, but on the contrary it would also be confusing if Cybershots were put in the S series, M series AND K series. They might make a new series, maybe, but I really don't know cos the K series is meant to be the flagship series, K700 K750 K800.

Noo.. cause:
W800 = Candybar
W850 = Slider
W900 = Swiffle
W950 = Candybar
So...don`t think SE wil mix numbers/ lettres

@shaliron.
J*** and T*** are low end models. S***was for the swivelers.
K*** is/was mid range candybar.
applied to any of the above which was denoted by a W*** prefix.
Does that mean all K*** from now now on will be Cybershot? Including sliders and clamshells?
I think I would prefer a new prefix for a slider, its a different form-factor afterall.
