Hey Rockygoli,
thanks! I think i'll just keep my R1AA. i've got no transfer probs. i'm using my supplied usb cable and a card read simultaneously.
I'm OK WITH R1AA!

As stated below, there is nothing stopping you from acquiring this software from Sony Ericsson directly, as far as we know there are no major problems with the handset you are using. Does this new firmware read m4a id tags? Im afraid if i update it, i will lose it. All my music uses the m4a id tags.

I don't know where everyone is located, but i'm in California and I'm getting the same problems as RangerJoe when trying to update. Same specs as him too. The hissing noise when speaking on the phone is agitating. I have T-mobile here if that matters.

I discovered a serious problem (IMHO) with firmware version: R1BC002.
The Bluetooth interface between my '05 Acura TL and my W800i no longer works. I'm able to receive in-coming calls, but I can not make out-going calls (both the car and the W800i just hangs).

Then I decided to 'un-pair' the phone with the car and start over with a new 'pair' process hoping that this will resolve the issue. The result is that the car's bluetooth manager will not recognize the W800i anymore. I belived that the BT was also modified in this new firmware release.

Does anyone does where I can downgrade to the previous firmware release?

It doesn't really matters what version of SEUS software because it is updated to the latest version when connecting to SE server. Sadly Continue Anyway button is not present in latest versions.
