About the pro duo adaptor/reduction: Here in the Czech Republic sandisk's m2's are apparently sold with an included Pro duo adaptor/ reduction. I don't know if the info on their add is correct or if we're just looking at a missprint. Sony also introduced a new pro duo card and said it had the potential to store up to 32gb as well (eventually of course).
I also have a question of my own:When is the 2gb micro gonna get here?

music video clips, 320x240 res, 20MB each (conservative) x 10 = 200MB
music files, AAC @1.5MB each (conservative estimate) x 500 = 750MB
Java Apps, 60KB each (conservative) x 100 = 6MB
Ringtones, themes, wallpapers etc, 10MB
Total = 966MB
Storage space available on a 1GB card = 949MB Oops, overflowing!
It's not hard if you actually use it. If you do nothing with your cell but calls, sms and take photos, then 1GB is over the top. For anything more than that and it's only JUST enough, and I'd be looking at a 2GB (I already need a 2GB for my K750)
@axilom... so does this answer your question?

makes sense. i think 1 GB's enough for me tho, without music files taking a huge chunk of the memory card. WALKMAN 1.0 was decent enough a player to replace my nano, now 1 had to go back to it as the K800's music player's stripped down to just-usable levels (e.g. less sorting options in the
home screen; you cant hit UP and DOWN in the now playing screen to edit the running playlist; the Bass eq preset is just not enough, etc)

Yep, get your drift. Walkman in K800 is poor from that perspective. It wouldn't worry me too much - personally I'm happy if it plays the tunes well, I'm not too worried about player ergonomics (scroll up and down through tracks via long press on volume button is enough for my needs)
But certainly if you don't use the music player on your phone, 1GB is a massive amount of space!

i have seen 2gb m2 cards at websites should i trust them and buy the card or should i wait to see if they are actually legit...and if they are legit will my k790a be able to use that much capacity considering that the m2 2gb card has barely been released?
thank you in advanced

I got my 2gb m2 from mobymemory for £50.99 (had to pay more for postage abroad)
works like a dream, somewhere around 1,940MB of space, and in phone mode I get up to to 270Kb/s transfer speed (Myphoneexplorer)
Not filled it yet, got 27 videos (largest is about 90meg), about 120mp3s and about 230 photos, 725 MB free
life is good, how did I ever live with 512MB?
Edit: Oh yeah, using a k800i
