Update bump!
I emailed
for a list of their handsets that support TCP/CIR and they sent me this list back - although it may not be so accurate as the W900i was not listed and I know mine supports it.
Maybe they just missed it out - I need to find out so if anyone has one of these handsets and using Smartvas but it has to poll every 30s to retrieve a message then please post.

Like u can only hav 30 contacts, how do u choose wat 30 u want? ive tried deleten em n seein if new ones appear but i still end up not having the ones i want. is there a way of choosing?

To change your password:
Log and and click on Edit Profile.
The administrator says you don't have to change your password but people have found that they can log after they have done.
Make sure it is longer than 6 characters.

You select the ones you need from your msn list. There is a second list on the Smartvas site under My Smartvas

im so glad i paid for IM+ from shapeservices cuz both yamigo n smartvas are so inconsistant,plus status msg's dont work or give the wrong status,cant appear offline,cant see contacts online sumtimes or login fails. why did they even bother wiv 'my friends' if this is the crap service we get,no wonder networks take it away when they brand these phones.
sorry,but it has to be said,it sucks! big time! the potential is there,shame its only half a service

I tried yamigo but all i get is the autobots' messages. i can't see any of my contacts online. even though they are online when i check my pc's msn.
i'm using a free java program 'mig33' it's cool. i think you should try it.
