Why is flashing using "flash language" not safe? it takes one less log which in the long run saves money but why do most people not use this method?

No, if you flash by AVR and ARM separately, it still takes only 1 log, yes, it's ONE log only! Remember this concept pls, because a lot of people make this wrong.
The problem of flash language is, you will have a chance getting all 4 locks locked after flashing. I've confirmed this from an expert.

Yes, you are right. But if you realise that all US T68m user need to send out their phone and pay $25 for the upgrade, 5GBP is really a small amount....

Ericsson wouldn, be adding features into the t68 anymore why bother buying then flashing when you'll only get back the same software at the user end? I'd rather rate the money and get a p800! This post was posted from a T68i
