I can see where you are coming from but part of the uniqueness of Esato is that it is dedicated to just one brand of mobile. It doesn't, however discourage other brands from looking for help/advice.
How many others are there as unique and as diverse as Esato on the net?
If it became a general forum then it has lost that uniqueness, forever.
EDIT: Also, I can't for the life of me think why no other dedicated forum is out there for other manufacturers.
I mean, whats stopping laffen from starting POTATO (Ony Take A TOshiba Phone).

Meths, it would take soemthing away from teh SE community, ure quite right there... at teh end of teh day ' if it aint broke, dont fix it....
A disadvantage boba would be that its uniqueness of being a SE forum would be tarnished.... (isnt that waht meths was kinda saying too)
