This all sounds good ... I reallt dislike the 3 'look' ... especially the folder 'My Stuff' ... really winds ne up ... so (forgive my ignorance) will it just revert back to a basic SE interface ? then all I have to do is get it unlocked ... I want to put my Virgin Sim in the thing ... unless anyone can suggest why I should keep it as 3 ... I've been really happy with Virgin ... Thanks for your time Roger

You need to make sure the streaming settings in connectivity are set to connect using the Vodafone WAP profile.

May I ask one simple question?
If I debrand my vodafone K800 using wotanserver, then will the icons all revert back to the original pretty SE icons as on a vanialla phone?
Also more importantly, will the phone become SIM free?

No the phone will not be unlocked by debranding the firmware, but it will change the icons to the standard SE versions.
The only way you can currently unlock your K800i is to pay vodafone to give you the unlock code.

I got my k800i with swedish 3 branding today. After one look at the horrible 3 interface of the phone i debranded it. Everything worked fine and I've inserted all settings manually via the 3 website.
One question though. How do you get the "Playnow" icon to direct you to the 3 portal? That would be nice.
