I didn't spray on the LCD, I guess the liquid dripped up from the joystick towards the LCD. The grey spots are still there, so I guess it's permanent. It's okay though, it's not that bad, and I'm getting a new phone in a few months anyway. I'll try searching for a different contact cleaner....

i dont have a contact cleaner to clean the joystick of my k700i, i used a zippu brand lighter fluid, i put 2 drops and air blowing it and it works but not 100%.

Did you dismantle your cell? You have to spray it right into the base, you won't get enough penetration with the cover on.

Contact cleaner should evaporate within 10-20 seconds, no longer otherwise it's possibly not the right stuff.
