To bring the torch back would require different equipment. Xenon vs. LED. Xenon is a gas enclosed system while the LED is designed to burn continuosly. In short, no torch for the k800i.

i found this torch java program that lights up the red led to use as torch on the k800i...

http://torch.advanta.se/

I don't dare to try it, how about you?

also I would like sony ericsson to add "user-define" screen size for games/applications which i don't know why it doesn't have it since most sony ericsson phones has it but k800i don't have

I've tried the torch app and it works. It makes the camera trying to auto focus. Look in the thread about K800i torch and you will see that a lot of people have tried it.

Try it. It works quite well. It was invented by a fellow Esato'er. Very handy.

No damage that I can see and how long do you plan to leave the LED on for? I have several LED flashlights and they do not seem to suffer damage if I leave them on for 10 or 15 mins. I think your worries are way over justified. It works but if you have reservations then it is best you do not use it.

The only thing i miss:
To turn up the volume higher!
When you'r in a noise environment, it's impossible to hear what the other person are saying.
My P900 had higher volume then the K800i

I regret to sell my W800 and changed to K800. K800 music player features is worse compare to W800i and so many bugs else W800 firmware is quite stable now.

Wish to have Improvements of Music Player:

Cannot scroll up and down to select song while playing music...
Volume too low, need to increase.
Cannot shortcut straight to the Now playing.

Is there possible to have MegaBass ?????????

Or some one can teach how to set setting can equal or better than MegaBass? Appreciated if anyone can advice. Thanks!!!!!

MegaBass is the worse thing SE ever invented in my opinion, however Megabass is a brand for all SE Walkman phones and one or two other, M600, and P990 (I think), so the chances of seeing it on the k800i is very slim. If you want to improve the sound, use the equalizer features in the media player. Second, the media player in the k800i is similar (technically I think to the w800i), so I do not think there is a major difference.

On my wish list is this: -

You've composed an SMS text message and need to send it. The choice of numbers/people listed should include not just recently TEXTED people but also recently PHONED people.

I often want to follow up a recent phone call with a text message - it is a pain to write the message and then have to scroll to the persons name. Yes I know if I started at CALLS I'd get a list of recent calls - and can send a TEXT from there... but I often have the message written before I think that far.
