what are you guys on about i said my ears can hear again , its just the hpm70 damaged them temporelely because i put them on about 70% , because i was travelling in a car , and had been doing this all week , the only thing wrong with my ears is they hurt after an hour of listening to music with the hpm70 , stinging sensation , my point is after a while of using earphones all the time when you reach 60 years old you can go deaf , it is not just hpm70 it includes ipod earphones aswell

and what we are saying, is that you seem to be the odd one out. No one else is getting the hurting ears that you get. I suggest you give up on megabase if you are using it for doof doof - that bad distortion will hurt anyone's ears.
If your ears still hurt after an hour of 70% listening without use of megabase, then YOU maybe should get your ears checked - because most of us, includinging my 39 year old self, don't have problems listening to the hpm-70 after an hour of listening at high volume. (I regularly do, and have never had sore ears).

i started listening like an hour ago , i was pushing the earbuds too far in , i moved them out a little and put the volume on full blast with megabass , and no pain , i listened for 5 mins still no pain , but a headache lol
, so im listening now at 40% and no pain or hearing loss , its the buds that are hurting my ears , !!!

i use mine daily : 100% except for night i have it on 50% then cos it feels 2 loud i dont have any problems with my W550i and i listen to my music all day so :S n i fink i got a spelling problem
