I've got a great idea to promote the voting even more whizkidd, if your're maybe not getting the overwhelming response that you expected. Perhaps axxxr can put it up on the front page along with the news, or one of the mods just places it somewhere prominent on the front page (anywhere!).

That would be a good idea, but its up to the mods. And the Esato front page displays general tech and mobile related news articles. Not Esato internal stuff. So I doubt it will be put there! One good way to promote the event is by adding the link to this thread in your signature! I have not done it so far..tho

Well I've PM'ed axxxr, and let's PM masseur as well, for his nod of approval. The more people the better, and I think the majority of members don't bother going through the Esato Forum thread, so it'd be good to spread the word even more.

Esato is much more than just these discussion forums, whereas these "awards" are forum awards only, and if members can't even read a thread in the forum designed for discussion about Esato itself then there is something wrong, don't you think?
On the other hand there is no harm to post about this thread in the news I guess

(When we compare the number of users online to the number of people who have signed up, its fairly evident)Most users either read the news articles on the main page and some even dont know thers a forum inside!Some just read the informative posts. I am fully aware that this awards caters to these small minority of esato regulars!Surely, would like most of them to vote!
