He won't be buying or selling on the SE-NSE site either. Couple of replies to my post warning them. He even tried to scam someone out of a fiver! Must be flaming desperate.

Okay, folks, as I seem to be the hit the worst money wise, I am involving the police tomorrow but will need your name, address, contact number etc and brief details of how he has scammed you. I will then print them out and add them to the pile of his doings.
We can't let this POS get away with it. Notice how he has gone to ground since all this happened. Probably busy arranging removals and scouring the local papers looking for temporary accommodation!
Thanks
Doug

Thank-you for the warning, I have noticed this seller and tested the water a little by enquiring into his deals. There did definitely seem to be something not quite right.
I have also been contacted by other members prior to this saying they had heard bad things about him and also been messed around a little after agreeing seemingly good deals which suddenly fell through.
He then comes up with an excuse such as the phone is now broken and it seems he has used this excuse with several people.
Unfortunately at that point he hadn't actually done anything illegal or ripped anyone off as such so there was very little that could be done other than exercise caution.
If it is now the case that people have lost their items and/or cash to this person then you should certainly look to leave some -ve feedback in the A-ZoTT. After all that is what it is for
If you don't feel that he has done anything to quite warrant a -ve reference but you have been messed around considerably remember that the A-ZoTT on se-nse also has the timewaster feedback facility.

@dougproctor
Good luck with you efforts in recovering your losses. I don't know if you remember a while back about a young lad ''Philip Shortman'', who decided to scam people on e-bay only for little bits at first?
He originally scammed people on forums just like this one, have a look around at some my name will come up on a few I'm sure. He actually started ripping people the same way as you have been done, and then the greed got the better of him. Started with a fiver and progressed to thousands!!! Oh and he used other names to, sound familiar???
Well he ripped me off for about £500 by direct payment into his bank account, and others for much more. One I remember a lad called Jamie for about £5000. We ALL contacted the Police and eventually the situation got so bad, the serious crime squad got involved as the amount soon added up. I think he admitted to about £150,000. He even became a ''STAR'' on the TV with a programme about his efforts, anyone remember that?
@fatreg
I even rang Shortman's Mother & Father to warn them the Police were going to be involved, and that was in the early stages, and they said ''He runs a successful business so if you have to involve the Police then that's your choice'. Yes they DID get a shock when the Police arrived, not to mention the newspapers we got involved as well!
Well my point here is, it does not matter if he gave you his bank details, his address, his telephone number or anything else, recovering your payment is VERY difficult even with the Police informed.
I knew everything about this lad even his place of work, his Mum & Dads place of work, his girlfriends name, even down to where he went to school, and still today have NOT received a penny back.
Do a ''Google'' for ''Philip Shortman'' and I'm sure you will find interesting reading, even down to his address!!!!!!!!!
Good luck mate, but NEVER give up we didn't.
