Finally, after long wait, the M2 1Gb is back in stock. I bought mine today, and now I have replaced my old 512 MB card.
I bought mine at a "Telia" shop here in Stockholm, and the price was not too high either, 649 SEK (89 US$ / 70 euro), even though it's way higher than for a 1GB SD or CF card.
As discussed previously, 1GB is not 1024 MB available, see picture below:

Mobymemory is a wkd place to get memory cards- they've got 1GB M2's for £39.99 (£44.49 including next day delivery).
Ordered mine yesterday before 1pm and got it this morning.
