duhh.... i dont care about the hiss and besides my phone works pretty smooth... i dont hear any hissing sound... why the hell you guys are pretty annoyed on hissing.... maybe your mobiles are defected.... better check it on service.... aight...

I have only had my W810 for 2 and a half weeks, but i really do like it. Tbh I do miss being able to see the clock in standby, but I know you can press the volume button to make it show up.
I only really notice the "hiss" on the walkman when I actually exit and it turns off, but can't hear when listening to music.

w810 supports edge... w800 doesnt
w810 displays better color than the w800
w810 is quadband w800is triband
w810 has flightmode...etc etc etc
so shown above.. what aspect can you say that w800 could be much better than of w810i??

I keep hearing that 3G is missing from the W810 as it is on the K790 (the K800 does have 3G). Problem is, that 3G is useless if it costs consumers TOO much for data rates and no TRUE unlimited data! Here in Canada Rogers Wireless owns Fido (the ONLY 2 GSM providers in this country). EDGE is on 850Mhz only and only Rogers' own towers that Fido consumers are able to enjoy. However, Rogers quickly removed the TRUE unlimited data package that Fido has offered for YEARS @ $50/mth. GONE. Rogers charges $100/mth = 200MB of data. Soon Rogers' will release 3G+HSDPA on both the 1900/850Mhz band ... but I sincerely DOUBT it'll offer TRUE unlimited data/mth.
So 3G in various parts of the world doesnt matter to consumers because its outrageously priced ... especially if I could rake up costs of $100 in extra mthly charges in less than 1hr TOTAL TIME of data surfing. 384Kbps * 60seconds*60minutes = 1'382'400! If my math isnt wrong thats 1Gb/mth.
However with light browsing/posting and incredible pictures, beautiful phone, and walkman its an excellent phone.
*regarding the iPod. REMEMBER to MAC users the iPod is MUCH more than a phonebook, calendar, music player, etc. It can ALSO carry a Mac users APPS/desktop environment/preferences to instantly load up - if they choose to - once connected to another MAC! So there is CLEARLY a need for MAC users to OWN an iPod.

W810i is my second HP, replacing my old Samsung N500. I actually want a W800i, browsing days to get as many info on W800i and comparing it to other walkman series since it's my intention to get a walkman phone. There wasn't any authorized dealer in my town, so i asked my cousin to buy it, and for whatever reason he ended up buying me a W810i
When it reached my hand, i just attached to it up until now, no remorse
I just wish it has a cover for the camera, and i dont have to be really steady to use the camera to get a good shoot.
It seems i'll stick with this one 'til it's time for me to join the 3G technology and by then i have to look for another walkman series with 3G support
