Yeah i wanna get this done. I spoke to a shop yesterday and they said it would be £20, so i reckon i will just send it to you. Would you charge £30 for the unlock and debranding? Or would you do a special price?

I have ordered SeTool from the link mentioned in the post. The guy from the company said there is no need for a power supply for the cables they provide (and they provide 2 sets apparently to do 2 phones at once). Hopefully I will get it quickly. I decided to invest in this as I am sure this will not be the first and only time I want to debrand/unlock a phone, and I can also earn a bit of cash if I feel like it too.
By the way, when debranding, how do you ensure that you still keep all of the ringtones, background pics etc? I think these are not part of the firmware update itself and get lost otherwise? Will a backup and restore work if the branding/firmware has been changed?

backup and restore will work fine for data before a flash, restoring after a flash.
Tested on M600i.

Hi all.
I am trying to keep all central info posted in this thread.
I have already had many requests, but I need to know people are definately interested.
At the moment I only have 10 credits so as I said before it is a first come first served situation.
I would like all those people who are 100% interested to PM me saying they are 100% interested so that I can get a definate number.
I will then reply with an address to send the phone to, and an estimated return date for the phone.
I am asking (as in a previous post) that everyone who sends me their phone send it in easy to reuse packaging with a piece of paper with their esato username on, their return address, the phone, the cd rom (for drivers) and the money for the required job.
So again everyone 100% interested please PM me stating this and I will get back to you ASAP!
Thanks a lot everyone
P.S. Be sure to make a full backup of your phone as all personal data will be lost during the flash
Also all phones will be flashed with the latest world generic 1 firmware I can get, unless otherwise stated.

I received my SETool kit and I have successfully debranded the P990 (without changing CDA as this does not require credits).
I could not use the supplied cables because I couldn't get the P990 into "program" mode when holding down the 'C' key. I had to use the SE USB cable that comes with the P990 instead.
Coxy, don't know if you have come across this. I tried to do a Read GDFS first as a backup precaution. It hung after about 60 seconds. After this the phone would not switch on again until I had flashed the firmware. Not sure why the Read GDFS would fail.

using the wrong cable? you said you were using the usb cable included in-box, this isn't how the guys that make setool expect it to be used - the dongle cable will be different and have extra wires (well...the old serial-style flashing did...) in the cable to allow flashing. To put a v600i into flashing mode, you turn it off, hold c and then plug the micro-usb in - then you may have to tap the on button while holding c, can't remember...

@jonstatt
I have not yet flashed a P990. I believe you can use the DCU-60 as opposed to a serial cable with a P990.
Unfortunately I cannot help with the read GDFS problem.

That's what flashing the phone with generic firmware will accomplish. Which is what the services of Coxy would do.
