Overall a very good update. My phone is much quicker and much more stable whilst multitasking (e.g. browsing and listening to music: no problem). Mediaplayers for both video and music work as they should now.
I did manage to crash the phone when I stressed it a lot by forwarding en rewinding videos extensively.
I noticed three things:
- Sent MMS still remains in the out-box and will be resend due to the automatic retry scedule: the message is being sent many times as a result.
- The rendering of some icons and texts is very coarse. The new bookmark icon, Opera icon and the artist and title in the musicplayer are low res and very jagged.
- Maximum volume of the frontspeaker appears to be lowered too much.
But overall a major step forward indeed.

Has anyone had the problem that the SE PC software refuses to recognize the phone after the update?

If you could that would be great mate... Adnhk over at My-Symbian has said that version 3.45 is for all UIQ3 devices and will be available in the next few weeks...

My screen does flicker more when dialing unlike before.
The dedicated speaker button while dialing is a very nice feature. Thank goodness they added it.

For example, mine shows 'World Generic2' and I think this maybe the reason I am not seeing some of the features here; my phone is unbranded...
my SEUS shows world generic 2.also, my phone is unbranded.
does anybody knows what that means?
anyway, the update went well.
thanks masseur for letting us know the new fw version is out. cheers!
video playback improved dramatically, but as im writting right now,the on screen keyboad seems laggy or somethin'
one more thing:before restoring the bakup point i had 18,6 mb free ram.after restoring i had 20,6mb. this is the first time i have over 20mb free ram since i have this phone

Just outta curiosity, has anyone tried the v3.45 BBC client that's now working on the P990i WITH the latest M600i firmware?
I know that with v3.37, there were seperate clients for both models. Just wondered if it had changed. Still looking to update the firmware on my g/f's M600i, but will need a working BBC client first,
Thanks guys.
