BTW guys, my EROM is R3A016. i read from other forums that the older version which is R3A011 has a bug...but i think EROM can't update thru SEUS...

It's the EROM CID that is updated via SEUS, not the EROM itself. It's the security that is updated to 51.

but i read on another forum that the firmware is available for more than one phone and it provided a list. the k790 was on the list so i assumed it would be able to be updated. :S

Yes it is I live in Holland and I've got a K800i non-branded, with KPN and I've got R1GB001
