Well ok I can see what improvements are there in the firmware overview. However I can't see what the difference between CID 49 and 51 is. And I don't see if I should update my phone via SEUS or not. I mean do I risk to just get more bugs on my phone with the latest firmware from SEUS. My phone is originally unbranded, so there should be no problem upgrading technically.
What I think about is like the PSP where you should NOT upgrade to firmware over 1.70 (or whatever it is). Like will the SE upgrade mainly just "protect" the possibility to use other 3th party upgrading software and so on....
Well you need to update to CID51 if you want to install newer firmware. So you don't have a choice in CID. Also SEUS will only install latest firmware so again you don't have a choice about the EROM CID. Unless you are willing to use third party flashing!
Still if you are satisfied with your current firmware then don't upgrade at all. If you have something that does not work then you upgrade.

I wish I got a free Wotan Credit to try all this. I cant use Wotan without using a Credit Card or some other card.
I wish I had R1GB001 or R1JC001

Yes maybe I should just go ahead with the SE update. Just got a feeling that I shouldn't. Can some please convince me to get the SE update - or that I should leave it.

R1JG001 is the new firmware for K800 from SEUS (not R1JC002).
Anyone upgraded to this firmware? I'm experiencing some new bugs.

my unbranded phone went from R1CB to R1ED to R1GB... all done using SEUS... so far the only problems i had with R1ED was the appearance of strange menu texts and that something regarding the old EROM conflict with java apps because SEUS failed to upgrade my R3A011 to 16 (solved by reflashing via my local SE service ctr).... With my current R1GB setup, the only noticeable bug is the occasional appearance of "ERROR: E1" text...
but generally, my k800i black is still in good working condition to this day
@Lambalisa
Regardless of what program you use to upgrade your phone, a newer firmware for the K800i is still , by far, a better option than not doing the upgrade at all... newer features, less fatal bugs i guess
