It works like a charm as a wallpaper for me on both my W850 and K610.

Here's how I got it working:

* Installed using wap from http://wap.bermin.net
* After it installed, I moved it to phone memory (menu More->Move to phone) since only java applications store in phone memory can be used as wallpaper.
* I set it as wallpaper (menu More->Wallpaper)
* Changed the read and write permissions to Never Ask (menu More->Permissions->Read User Data and Write User Data)
* Went back to the stand-by screen and it fired up automatically.

I've set the background picture to the same picture as my theme so it really looks like it's part of the phone itself.
