ill find out if der is going to be more news, wen i get the info myself, i wouldnt jump ship at the moment, nor am i going to be jumpin ship, since they are introducing a new staff tariff for me which is £20 a month for 1000 mins n 1000 texts n long weekend mins (2000) of them n 76MB net access, so thats pretty sweet, but just watch this space id say wait till the summer, because in the summer orange and voda are going to be lauching somethin really similar to t mobiles web n walk service, and then most likely o2 will have somethin better by den too, cuz if not it'l be a sucidal move for o2 if it dont launch nething to keep up wit everyone else.

At work they are talking about 2 dates, for online customers they are talking about the 27th of april, for non online customers, its the 1st of May. They might bring it earlier for non online customers the date to the 27th april, not 100% certain though since i don't work for non online cust service.
the 1000 mins are anytime on the staff deal.

Hi all,
Sorry to say this but Voda, Orange and 02 have been having new tariffs coming now for so long it is little more than a bad joke. It really doesn't take 6 months plus to introduce new tariffs as so far every one of these new tariffs whilst being better than previous fall so far short of being competitive it is just unbelievable IMO. If 02 seriously think people are going to be happy viewing just Wap pages and the speed and experience that gives gives their users they are even more crazy than i thought possible. To put it simply if they do not react now they are going to continue to churn customers at an alarming rate and as far as i am concerned deserve to.

@dogmann....
the reason y voda at least have held out is because of the following...
When they want to introduce a new tarif the tarif itself has to go through testing on the network to make sure that billing and customer services etc can cope with the added problems that may arise lol...
Plus, vodafone will want their monitoring systems (for abuse of the service like VOIP and Skype etc etc) to work 200% correct and catch everyone not adhering to the T&C's lol...
This is generally the reason why the big V hold out on new tariffs... especially when they have just released loads of newish tariffs etc etc...
I for one am all for unlimited data plans and they will appear but Vodafone want to view the market, make sure their system works properly and then release a slightly better suited option after everyone else has released theirs lol... like they always do!

T-Mobile 's Web 'n'Walk deals are pretty good byt all means though there coverage is pretty lousey where im planning to move eventually.
Seems 02 are waiting for the other competetors to change there Data before they stamp in.
if the 1GB is foreal that is pretty good but again my tariff is £25 per month so I just hope we can get half tha for less the same price if not included in the plan

@haynesycop
No they they dont change the contract you are on when they bring new contracts out.
Also even when you come to updgrade if you are happy with the deal then again they will leave it alone.
