That makes perfect sense sell a phone that actually has good sound and that you can plug your own quality headphones in plus all it's other features. Then buy a Walkman phone that by your own admission doesn't have great sound and is a music phone with a tiny screen makes perfect sense how very logical.

I know... but its just that I have a P990i as my primary phone, and I hardly ever use my phones to listen to music anyway. I got the W880i mainly because its the best fit in my pocket.

Anyway, playback on the N95 isn't good either.

I really don't know how you can say that when respected members of this Forum that have had the W950 confirm the Music playback on the N95 is as good if not better then on the W950. Personally i tested the W950 and W880 and found neither to give as good results as then my N93 and now my E61 using wires not bluetooth as personally i really don't rate A2DP for anything other than not having wires.

Having said that we are all free to make our own choices and have are own preferences but for me performance and quality is much more important than who manufactures the device i choose.

@dogmann

i only remember reading one member say one thing about n95 v w950i music playback. He said the n95 is 50% louder, but didnt say quality was better. Said it (n95) had worse bass or treble, cant remember which....

any way, just stating what they said.....

@all
if you have both phones to compare, great, if not, i dont know how people can say which one is better and thats not just for music either

Hey, sorry, I didn't mean that, but what I said was saying, the N95 just doesn't sound any better than decent daps. I wasn't comparing it to any other phones.

You might be right about the N95 having a higher quality audio output than any SE phones, and I wouldn't have any right to, as I haven't really sat and listen to a N95 long enough to give a comparison.

I've got an N95, and I've just got a K810i and W880i. I can't decide which to keep out of the K810i and W880i but the Nokia is going.

The battery...sucks. It lasts a day at most. Yes the photos and video recording are fantastic but it seriously drains the battery. I've charged the phone up some nights before going to bed, unplugged it and set an alarm, wake up and its on 75%!?

The other day I went to the new Wembley stadium to watch a football game. Unplugged the phone in the morning fully charged, did about 10 minutes of 3g web browsing on the coach up, 5 minutes of streaming video. Did about 10 minutes of video recording at the game and took 5 photos. 10 minutes of web browsing on the way home and it died. Terrible

Wi-Fi drops out all the time (not the router as laptop and my old xda orbit were fine). If you use the camera/wifi/gps, any of these apps then the phone gets pretty warm to the touch, not hot but uncomfortable to hold. The build quality isn't great either, after just a week the slider has developed a rattle and feels loose now.

The sound quality is good though, yes you can plug in your own headphones with the 3.5mm jack but its on the side of the phone which makes it an awkward fit in your pocket plugged in. N91 had it right with the jack on top.

Now!.....W880i or K810i ?
