I received an email from Ericsson support mobility world telling me that the Dev Kit will be available within 2/3 weeks.
By the way, I talked to a person at Ericsson mobility world in New York and she thinks that the P800 is going to be available everywhere in a few weeks. She said that she wouldn't be surprised if it is out before Christmas.

Hehe, calm down guys. This kit is meant for developers. If you are into serious programming, I think that it is better to hold out a few weeks and get the commercially released P800.
By the way, has everyone here been notified about that P800 definitely will be shipped to stores and sold before Christmas? But there are only a small quantity available before Christmas. This is official information confirmed the Sony Ericsson via the Swedish magazine Mobil:

Another thing to point out, P800 initially will only be available in selected markets (Sweden is one of them, let's all pray that your country is on that selected list).
I will only translate some important bits and pieces from the article, the most important one.

It is stated for quite some time that P800 MAY be able to hit stores before Christmas, in the best-case scenario. And now, it looks like the best-case scenario has become a reality.

Nu lovar nämligen Nina Eldh, informationschef på Sony Ericsson, att P800 kommer att finnas i Sverige till julen, om än i mindre volymer.
Because presently Nina Eldh, information-chief at Sony Ericsson, is promising that P800 will be available in Christmas-time, in Sweden, although in small quantity only.
